David, 69, a long time Lunenburg, MA resident, left this world suddenly on Monday April 11, 2022.
David was born in Newport, RI on October 08, 1952. David was predeceased by his father Henry Nicholai Peterson Jr. and his mother Alice Elizabeth "Bette" (Erickson) Brown and his sister Sally Elizabeth Brown.
David leaves behind the love of his life Maria Fernandes and his "step daughter" Wendy Fernandes and her family, cousins and friends.
David attended the New England Institute of Anatomy and Science in Rhode Island then worked for many years at American Science and Engineering in Cambridge, MA. Later in life David went back to school to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services at Fitchburg State University. After graduating, Magna Cum Laude, he went on to have a career doing what he loved the most, taking care of those in need. David was a very hard working and dedicated man, he was always there to help those he cared about anywhere, at any time and in any way.
David was an artist at heart. He loved music, playing his guitar and found great joy in creating rock art. He adored his dog Nikko that just passed away a few weeks before him.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 11AM at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA.
