Jerry Kinnett, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in Worth County, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the Chapel on Saturday.
Mr. Kinnett was born June 18, 1950, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Charlie Howard & Onita Grimes Kinnett. He was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School and worked as a meat cutter for Piggly Wiggly. He was also a stacker operator for West Fraser. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ann Kinnett of Fitzgerald; sons: Jerry Lee & Joi Kinnett of Fitzgerald and Robert Andrew “Andy” & Becky Kinnett of Fitzgerald; a step-daughter, Wendy & Richard Prather of Butler, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Hunter Kinnett, Cody & Lindsey Kinnett, Kyle Kinnett & Samantha Munroe, Brianna Prather and Brittany Prather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Calhoun Kinnett; three brothers; and three sisters.
