Donald David Deveau, 82 of Ledyard CT, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, June 9, 2022.
Donald aka. Mook was born July 1, 1940 in a house in Mystic CT. He worked the first half of his career as an auto-mechanic at Brustolon’s Auto Dealership and finished his career at Pfizer as a machinist, retiring in 2004.
For many years he toured the country on his Harley with his wife Bonnie, and two brothers-in-law, Gerald and Timmy York along with their wives Linda and Janet.
He was a devoted family man who helped create thousands of great events and memories where spontaneous gatherings of 50 to 100 were not uncommon on the family land.
He loved hot dogs, Moxie and Wise potato chips and hated traffic!
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, son Chris Deveau (and fiancé Karen), and daughter Tami and husband Scott Kersteter, mother -in- law Ollie York. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Shaye Deveau, Cody Kersteter, Saige Deveau, Mason Kersteter and his dog JT.
At his request, there will not be a service or calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at his home on July 9th at 12:30pm. You may contact his family for more information.
