In Taunton, Raymond F. Ransom, age 78, passed away in Morton Hospital on June 11, 2022. Raymond was the husband of the late Patricia (Davis) Ransom. He was born and educated in Whitman, the son of the late Lynnwood Ransom & Dorothy (Barrett) Ransom. Ray was a retired Maintenance worker for the former Howard Johnsons in Brockton. He enjoyed working on Cars, prefabrication welding and watching all Boston sports teams. He was the father of Lynn Crowther and her husband Mikel of Taunton, Scott Ransom and his wife Amanda of Taunton and the late Raymond Ransom. Grandfather of Ashley Ransom, Brian Gorey, Jade Ransom. Tylor Machado, Jamison Ransom, Haley Ransom, Charlotte Crowther and great grandfather of Kayden Ransom, Nicholas Crites, Emmy Crites, Logan Gorey and the late Mason Gorey. Brother of the late David and Wayne Ransom. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Saturday June 18th at 10Am followed by a graveside service at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton at 11 AM. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM.
