Patti M. (Hallal) Hunter, age 63, of Taunton, formerly of Norton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.
Born in Norwood, MA on March 17, 1959, she was a loving daughter of the late Alfred and Lila (Ristom) Hallal.
Patti grew up in Norwood and was a 1977 graduate of Norwood High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, having worked for the Community Visiting Nurse Agency and most recently at Beth Israel Hospital in Needham, a job she truly loved.
A resident of Taunton for the past two years, she was a former longtime resident of Norton. Patti’s family was her greatest gift in life, especially as a “Sito” to her treasured grandchildren. She loved walking with her dog “Samantha”, gardening and cooking traditional Lebanese and Syrian meals.
She is survived by her devoted children: William C. Hunter and his wife Melody Song-Hunter of Greenville, Rhode Island, Emily A. Hunter of Plainville and Elizabeth M. Hunter and her partner Mario Fernandes of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She was the cherished grandmother of Rowan and Ava. She was the dear sister of Roberta D’Angelo and her husband Paul of Plympton, Christine Skinner and her husband Dan of Carver, Linda Sutton and her husband Frank of Grafton and Alfred Hallal and his longtime partner Susan Grimes of Norwood. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend services in celebration of her life beginning at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Norton VFW Post, 38 Summer Street in Norton.
