Violette Jean-Louis (81) of Brockton died June 11th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jean Barthelmy.
She was born in Jeremie, Haiti daughter of the late Oriman Jean-Louis and Lise Sagesse. Violette was a retired receptionist and a member of the Brockton Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed watching movies, reading the Bible, singing and praying.
Violette is survived by 3 sons, David Barthelmy of Taunton, Dulande and Pierre A. Barthelmy both of Brockton, her sister Marie France of New Bedford, (mother of the late Betty and Lucrene Barthelmy), 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services in the Brockton Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, 235 Court Street Brockton Friday June 24th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing in the church from 8 am prior to services.
