Obituary

LEICESTER__Laura Lee (Senecal) Vickers, 53, of Rochdale died unexpectedly on Monday, June 6, 2022, in St. Vincent Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Anthony D. Vickers, Jr. She also leaves her sons, Anthony D. Vickers, III and Mack Vickers, both of Rochdale and Daniel Di Pilato; brothers, Gary Senecal, Peter Jones and Garret Senecal; sisters, Heather Matela and Lisa Marie Senecal. She was born in Dover, Delaware a daughter of Gary Wayne Senecal, Sr. and Cheryl Marsh.

Mrs. Vickers graduated from Burncoat High School and attended Salters Secretarial School. She worked as a patient care assistant providing care to private patients. She previously worked for the GAP department stores. Laura was a kind, compassionate woman whose life revolved around family. Her love and attention to them was constant. She was proud of her indigenous peoples heritage and loved collecting relics and all related artifacts. Her love of nature and the wilderness extended to her garden and care for animals. She lived and loved the 80’s and enjoyed traveling to the beach, horses and playing the piano.

Calling hours are Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street Worcester. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 11:00 am in St. John Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester, Our Lady of Fatima section.
