Obituary

Roger F. Sherman, 70, of Tewksbury, formerly of South Windsor, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8 at his home in Tewksbury. He was the beloved and devoted husband of Gail (Behan) Sherman with whom he shared 34 years of marriage.

A son of the late Roger D. Sherman and the late Vivian (Crosson) Sherman. He was born on June 27, 1951 in Hartford, Connecticut. He was raised and educated in that area.

Roger led a life dedicated to God and his family. He was a Music
Teacher, Choir Director, and a gifted musician. He was dedicated to giving back by teaching percussion at Cornerstone Christian School and also at the Salvation Army. He also led the male quartet at church, and volunteered wherever he was needed.

Roger accepted Jesus while he was in college and dedicated his life to studying God's Word. He will be missed by many who knew him.

Besides his wife, Gail, he is also survived by his daughter, Jessica, to whom he was a wonderful Dad. Roger also leaves behind his sister Claudia (Sherman) Lavoie and her husband Albert of CT, brother-in-law Steve Behan and wife Gloria Behan, sister-in-law Kathy Neagle, nephew Michael Neagle and wife Mariah, and niece Lisa Mendonca and husband Steve, and four grandnieces and one grandnephew.

All are welcome to attend his visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876 - 978-851-2061. You are also invited to attend his funeral service which will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.
