WORCESTER–Ann C. (Reynolds) Cleary, 90, of Worcester, passed peacefully into the arms of God Monday, May 8th, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Albert T. Cleary passed on April 25, 2005. She is survived by a son, William A. Cleary of Sudbury; 3 daughters Patricia A. Gallo of Millbury, Shirley St. Michael of Laurel, MD, and Joan F. Cleary of Worcester; 2 brothers Leo Reynolds of Worcester and Joseph Reynolds of South Pasadena, FL; 6 grandchildren, James Cleary of NY, Karen Cleary-Devine of Stow, Melyssa St. Michael Flack of AR, Krystine St. Michael of MD, Laurie St. Michael of AR and Jennifer Gallo of Millbury; two great grandchildren, Peter Cleary of NY and Anna Heffernan-Fagone of Sudbury; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Robert, John and George Reynolds and a sister Muriel Skarin.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of John L. and Annie (Bombard) Reynolds. Mrs. Cleary was a graduate of South High School and David Hale Fanning School of Dental Assistants. She lived in Worcester all her life where she married, raised her family and was employed as a dental assistant until retirement. Mrs. Cleary was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, furniture refinishing, and reading. Her greatest joy came from loving and caring for her family and in turn her family’s greatest joy was being loved and cared for by her. She enriched the lives of many and all who knew her were given a special gift.
The funeral is Friday, May 12th, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 11th, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
