Obituary

On June 16, 1938, Marcel Robert Lacerte was born. For the next 83 years 11 months and 352 days the world was a brighter place. Marcel spent a lifetime serving others. From his beginnings as an altar boy, his time in the Air Force, his work in the church, and his fierce dedication to his family and friends, he was always there to help with a smile.

Marcel met and married Claire (Uhry) and their love burned bright for nearly 62 years while raising their family, traveling, and just enjoying a life well-lived.

Marcel died on Friday, June 3rd. surrounded by family and holding Claire’s hand. His last words were “I Love You”, a fitting testament to the man he was. As a young father, he worked multiple jobs at once to support his 3 sons, Richard, Norman, and Brian. He made a career in avionics and retired with distinction.

He leaves behind a legacy of love in the 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren whom he adored. For those of us who were lucky enough to know and love him, It will be difficult to go on without his guidance, wisdom, and friendship.

Rest now Marcel, you have certainly earned it. We Love You.

A committal service will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 12:30 pm in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
