Shirley M. (Whyte) Preziosi, age 85, of Plymouth, formerly of Winchester and West Roxbury, passed away on May 30, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard V. “Dick” Preziosi for 56 years until his death in 2020.
Born in Boston, Shirley was the daughter of the late Henry and Delia (Fannon) Whyte. She was raised and educated in West Roxbury. A homemaker, Shirley’s main focus was taking care of her family. She was an excellent baker and cook, as many of her friends and family can attest, and she loved a good yard sale!
She is lovingly survived by her children: Gina Preziosi of Stoneham, Richard Preziosi, Jr. and his wife Judy of Nashua, NH. She was also the dear sister of Thomas Whyte and his wife Margaret of Plymouth, the late Elliot Whyte, Audrey Johnston, Harry Whyte and James Whyte and is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be at held St. Peter’s Church, 86 Court St., Plymouth, on Saturday, June 25 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
