Ana Paula Oliviera-Ruizzo, 29, of Eddy Dowling Highway, North Smithfield, died Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital with her husband, Alex Ruizzo by her side.
Born in Susano, Brazil, she was a daughter of Antonio Rosa DeSilva and Clarilene Francisca DeOliviera Silva of Brazil. She had most recently lived in North Smithfield after moving from Boston three years ago.
Ana received her Bachelor’s degree from UNASP – Brazil. She then moved to Boston in 2017 to continue her education at Boston University and work for an Au Pair Cultural Exchange Program. She had worked at Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty in Smithfield for the past year as an Administrative Assistant.
While living in the United States Ana found her soul mate, Alex. They married in a beautiful ceremony on April 30th, 2022.
Ana’s hobbies included hiking, coloring, watching movies and reading. She was a spiritual person and enjoyed Astrology, Astronomy.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her brother, Alex Sandro Oliveira, her husband’s family and her cat, Hope.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 10am-1pm with a funeral service at 1pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
