Obituary

WORCESTER___Raymon P. Kudron, 90, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday May 26, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital. His wife of many years, Christine D. (Kimbar) Kudron died in 2004.

He leaves two daughters, Donna M. Joppas and her husband, Gary of Worcester and Lisa A. Kierstead of Worcester; three grandchildren, Tara Cudmore and her husband John, Amanda Greene and David Joyce and his wife Rosetta, six great-grandchildren, Alyson Cornelius, Jackson Cudmore, Alana Cudmore, Zane Cudmore, Luciana Cudmore and Isla Joyce, a sister, June Gasperski, a nephew, John Carroll Gasperski and his many friends from Colony Retirement community. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janine V. Kudron – Penny, a brother, John Kudron, a nephew, Michael Gasperski and a brother, John Kudron, Raymon is also survived by his late brother John’s wife Theresa Kudron and their three children, Brenda Lague, David Kudron, John “Jack” Kudron and their families. Raymon was also predeceased by a brother-in-law, Carroll Gasperski. Raymon was born in Worcester, a son of the late John and Rose (Nawrocki) Kudron and has lived here all his life. He attended the Worcester Public Schools. Raymon was a U. S. Army veteran who was stationed in Germany after World War II.

He was a machinist many years for Heald Machine Co., later Cincinnati Milacron. He retired many years ago. When he was younger he also worked for the Worcester Animal Rescue League. In early retirement he worked part-time at Worcester Academy and St. Christopher’s Church.

Raymon was a member of St. Christopher’s Church. He loved yard sales, cars, watching baseball and scratch tickets. He especially enjoyed family get togethers and the outdoors.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A short gathering before the Mass will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM for visitation and prayer in St. Christopher Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Horizons for Homeless Children, 1785 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury, Ma 02119 or to Worcester Animal Rescue league, 139 Holden St, Worcester, MA 01606. Service arrangements are in the care of HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL SERVICE, 33 Ward Street.
