Obituary

SOUTH HADLEY – Ansleigh Rose “Miss A” McDaniel, 8, of South Hadley, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, May 15, 2022. She passed on to be in the Comfort of the Angels after a courageous lifetime battle with Cerebral Palsy with her loving family by her side. She was born in Northampton on June 19, 2013, a beloved daughter of Christopher G. and Deirdre R. (Zwilling) McDaniel of South Hadley. She was a wonderful third grade student at Mosier Elementary School in South Hadley. Ansleigh was an active little girl who enjoyed swimming and being outdoors any chance she could. She loved to play board games, making crafts, watching Disney movies, listening to her favorite performer, Taylor Swift, and spinning around in her chair, but most especially took great pride in pestering her big brother, Vincent. In addition to her parents, she leaves her loving brother, Vincent Christopher McDaniel of South Hadley; her loving maternal grandparents, Donald and Deborah Zwilling of Lancaster, OH; her loving paternal grandparents, George and Cindy McDaniel of Belchertown; her loving great grandmother, Joann McDaniel of Louisville, KY; and her many cherished aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, friends and schoolmates. Her Funeral will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
