Agnes M. Malley, 96, of Whitman passed peacefully on Sunday, May 15th surrounded by her loving family.
Agnes was born in 1925 in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of Agnes and Martin Carroll.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest enjoyment was watching her children and grandchildren flourish.
Agnes was a woman of great faith and was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church in Whitman, where she attended church daily.
Agnes was an avid reader, and a long-time reading teachers’ aide in the Whitman Schools.
Agnes was the beloved wife of J. Warren Malley who passed in 1982 and grandmother of Jaqueline McMillan in 1986.
Agnes is survived by five children, Michael of Colorado and his wife Toni, Catherine (Kae) of Whitman and her husband Chris, Mark of Danvers and his wife Susan, Joseph of Pennsylvania and his wife Susan, and Anne of Bridgewater and her husband Jim.
Agnes felt so blessed to have 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and looked forward to any and all family celebrations.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life.
