Mary E. Roberts

TEWKSBURY: Mary E. (McAuley) Roberts, age 57, a 30-year resident of Tewksbury, passed away at her home in the care of her family and hospice on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of William H. “Bill” Roberts with whom she shared 32 years of marriage, devoted mother of Nathalie Roberts of Tewksbury and Henry Roberts and his wife Savana of Windham, NH and loving grandmother of Charlotte Marie Roberts and William Henry Roberts of Windham, NH.
Born in Winchester on December 10, 1964, she was the daughter of the late James E. McAuley and the late Patricia (Pepin) McAuley.
Mary was raised in Reading and graduated from Reading High School in 1982. She attended Bunker Hill Community College, where she received her A.S. Degree.
Prior to her illness, she was employed as a certified pharmacy technician by Preferred Pharmacy Solutions of Haverhill.
Mary enjoyed walking, listening to music, visiting area beaches, outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with her sisters and granddaughter. In addition, she was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Mary was the sister of James McAuley, Kathie Wardrip, Regina McAuley, Elaine Mitchell, Patricia McKenna, Thomas McAuley, Brian McAuley, Theresa Quilty, Mark McAuley, and the late Barbara Arnone.
At Mary’s request, there are No Calling Hours. Family and friends are invited to her Memorial Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 25th, at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Those attending are asked to meet at the church. Interment of her ashes will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Tewksbury Community Food Pantry, 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
