Brenda Thornton (71) of Brockton died May 13th in the Bay Pointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Edward Thornton.
She was born in Oxford, North Carolina daughter of the late Ab Chandler and Willie Sue (Royster) Chandler. Brenda was a certified nurses aide and enjoyed shopping, scratch tickets, cooking and watching horror movies.
Brenda is survived by her son Jerome Thornton of Raynham, 3 daughters, Antonieta Garcia of Taunton, Alysia Brewton of Brockton, Sandy Dunn of Stoughton and Nicole Thornton of New York, a sister, 21 grandchildren including Ryan, Niziah, Lariya, Jyleona, Aniya and Sky, 16 great grandchildren, a nephew, 2 nieces including Qujania, her daughter in law Heidi and 2 son in laws, Archie and Deacon.
Following Cremation, Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
