Margaret Alice Martin Robinson, 66, of Tifton, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Robinson was born on June 14, 1939 in Hamilton County, Florida and was the daughter of Ruben E. Martin and Della Smith Martin, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Martin. She was a secretary for Auto Zone and was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Robinson is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Marty and Shirley Goff of Tifton, Daniel Goff of Tifton, and Carmen and Carol Goff of Mount Vernon, Ohio; four daughters and one son-in-law, Sarah and Robert Lloyd of Valdosta, Martha Goff of Tifton, Margarita Williams Hammontree of Tifton and Della D. Milliones of Tifton; two brothers, Cecil Martin and Henry Martin; two sisters, Edith Martin Terrel and Trudy Martin Clark; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
