Clara M. Doucette, 84

Clara M. (LaPointe) Doucette, age 84, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the presence of her adoring family, on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. “Duce” Doucette, to whom she was wed for over twenty years.
Born in Brockton, on June 27, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late George and Clara (Sweeney) LaPointe.
Clara grew up and was educated in Brockton. A resident of Mansfield for the past twelve years, she had formerly worked as a waitress and especially loved her jobs and customers at the Catman Café in Mansfield and at the Donut Shoppe in Foxborough.
Clara’s family was the center of her universe and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo and trips to area casinos.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted sons: Donald Noonan and his wife Kathleen of Melbourne, Florida, Edward Noonan of Berkley, Michael Noonan of North Attleboro, John Noonan and his wife Kathleen of Revere and Brian Noonan of Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Rita Parker of Brockton and is also survived by her cherished 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 17th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 10:00 A.M at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Clara’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Hope Health Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02904.
