We are heartbroken to inform you that on Sunday, May 1, 2022 Mary Devin was given her angel wings. Mary was born in Boston and lived in Southie until a recent move. Mary was loved by so many people and animals. She was so loving and generous and always thought about everyone else before herself.
Mary has been reunited with her soulmate and late husband George Devin (Mooney). Mary and George, (Buzzard and Mooney) had an amazing relationship full of fun and excitement. They loved taking adventures to Foxwoods. Mary was an amazing cook. She made the most delicious food and you could taste the love in every single bite. Mary and George had two beautiful daughters, the late Mishal McDonald and Christine (Goose) Macdonald of Dorchester. Christine and her fiancé Bobby Nap, have three amazing children, Devin, Deilya and DeRyan Nap. These children were Mary‘s entire world. She absolutely adored her family. She was such a proud grandmother. Recently Mary was devastated by the sudden loss of her oldest daughter Mishal. It brings some comfort knowing that they are now reunited.
Mary comes from a large family of eight children. The late Eileen Callahan of Mississippi, Edward T Martin of Florida, the late Ann Gavell of New Hampshire, the late Wayne J Martin of Braintree, Diane Asci of Norfork, the late Tomas J Martin of California and Michelle Cajar of Florida. Mary is survived by so many nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts uncles and cousins who truly loved her. Mary has been reunited with her late parents Tomas J Martin Jr. and Vivian Dubois. Hold her memories close to your heart.
