Claire M. (Dondi) Piscitelli, age 88, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton and Sudbury, died peacefully on May 5, 2022 at Marlborough Hospital. Claire was born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Lodovico and Lena (Murelli) Dondi. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and worked at Emerson Hospital where she enjoyed helping others. Claire was a resident of Sudbury from 1969-1994 and was actively involved in the community through her work with Meals on Wheels, The Sudbury Villagers, teaching CCD at our Lady of Fatima Church, Hop Brook Garden Club and other volunteer opportunities.
Claire had a thirst for learning and history. She enjoyed traveling abroad and was also an avid gardener, reader, and intrepid mahjong player. Time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, gave her the greatest happiness.
Claire was the loving mother of Mark Piscitelli and his wife Cindy Harvey of Norfolk, MA, Edward Piscitelli and his wife Janice of Parker, CO, John Piscitelli and his wife Susan of Westwood, MA and Gina Krueger and Steven Jones of Southborough, MA; the special Nonnie of Matthew, Sam, Emma, Lyra, Jonah, Zachery, Eli, and Leah Piscitelli and Rachel and Hannah Krueger; and the sister of Patricia Conn of Bridgewater and the late Caroline Reichert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband Pasquale Piscitelli.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 25 in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton from 9am-10:30am. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Claire’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
