Obituary

Amy Elizabeth Lewis, age 50 of Peabody, formerly of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2022. Amy was born to and raised by the late Gloria and Lawrence Lewis of Cambridge. She was the youngest of her siblings, Paul and Stephanie Lewis. She was a devoted mother to her daughter India and son Divon and a loving Mimi to her grandkids Xavier and Layla. She insisted they call her Mimi because grandma and nana sounded too old. The love she had for her grandkids was out of this world.

Amy was adventurous, spiritual, independent and had a strong spirit that didn’t put up with anyone’s BS. She loved crystals and would often give them to people she felt needed an energy adjustment. She had a huge crystal collection (that her daughter is going to continue) and porcelain Native American babies that nobody was allowed to touch. She lived with debilitating medical conditions but even when she was weak she would do anything for anyone. Her personality was one of a kind… she always carried hand sanitizer with her and had every cleaning supply that existed to the point where she would often spray Lysol after people left her house. She was amazing, she touched many lives and will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Divon and India Goodman, grandchildren Layla Goodman and Xavier Craig, her partner Joey Desrochers, her good friend and father of her children Derek Goodman, nephews Ryan, Stephen and Jason and a host of other family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday May 12 from 6-8 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
