Derek Sands, Age 37, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2022. Derek is survived by his wife Heather (Bourque) Sands of Framingham. He was born in Stoughton, the son of Michael Sands of Nevada and Suzanne (Manoli) Sands of Somerset
Derek was a resident of Boston and formerly of Somerset. He attended schools in Somerset where he played football. He enjoyed his work as a tattoo artist and spending time with friends and family, and above all was proud of being a Dad to his son Derek Jordan, "D.J." Sands.
In addition to his wife Heather, son Derek and parents, he leaves his grandparents; Alfred Manoli Jr. and his wife Patricia of Belmont, NH and Brenda Snarsky and husband Michael of Wareham, MA and the late Helen sands and also several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, May 14th from 10am. - 12pm.
