Obituary

Nancy A. (Iannillo) DelGreco, 78, a former resident of Somerville , died peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2022 at her home, after a courageous decades long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

She was the beloved wife of Charles J. DelGreco Jr., with whom she would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary next month.

She was born in Boston on June 13, 1943, one of three children of the late Generoso Iannillo and the late Angelina (DiCiaccio) Iannillo. She was raised and educated in Somerville. After their marriage, she and Charlie lived in Somerville for many years before relocating to Seabrook, NH to enjoy their retirement.

In her younger years, Nancy worked in the accounting department at the Somerville National Bank. Nancy’s family was her world, raising her boys became her life's work. Gatherings and holidays with her children, grandchildren and extended family was Nancy’s greatest joy. She loved to cook and Sunday dinners at “Nonnie & Papa’s” were always looked forward to by her family. She also enjoyed spending time on her iPad sometimes playing games but mostly reading. She was a voracious reader, having 100’s of books on her iPad.

Besides her husband Charles J. DelGreco, of Seabrook, she leaves her children, Anthony J. DelGreco and his wife Sandie of Salem, NH, Charles J. DelGreco and his wife Deborah of Reading, and John D. DelGreco and his wife Robin of Foxboro; 10 grandchildren, Meghan, Molly, Ashley, C.J., John Jr., Kaitlyn, Erin, Tyler, Gabriella, and Cooper DelGreco; 3 great grandchildren, Jailyn, Logan and James; a sister, Marie Schena and her husband Joseph of Woburn; a brother, Anthony Iannillo and his wife Rita of Kennebunk, ME; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family.

You are welcome to attend her visitation at TEWKSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 1 DEWEY STREET, TEWKSBURY, MA - 978-851-2061 on Thursday, May 12 from 2 until 5 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
