Obituary

Alfred P. Pace Jr. of Needham, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on May 8, 2022 at the age of 61, following a courageous battle with Biliary Cancer.

Alfred was born in Boston on July 10, 1960, a son of the late Alfred P. Pace Sr. and Margaret T. (Ford) Pace. He grew up in Lincoln where he was educated in the Lincoln Public School system and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury High School in 1978. He furthered his education and graduated from Norwich University in Vermont in 1981, where he met his future wife Ann Simeone-Pace.

Alfred was a second generation builder who built many amazing buildings as well as beautiful custom homes with his dedicated colleagues. Passing along his knowledge of the business to his children was a great accomplishment of his. Alfred also dedicated his time to Needham youth hockey, where he served on the board for 20 years. He coached his children and their peers with passion and love. Alfred was a proud member of Sailfish Point and Charles River Country Club.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann of 38 years; and children, Zarchary, Mary, Lichele and her husband Stanley Ward Jr., Alfred III, Isabella, Stella Rose, and Rocco. He is the proud Papa of his grandson Stanley “Kite” Ward III. He is the devoted brother of Susan Pace-McComb and her husband Tom, and Cheryl Pace. He is the dedicated brother-in-law to Fran Simeone, Lisa and Bobby Ewanouwski, and Michele and Cliff Abrecht. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment at Lincoln Cemetery.
