Ann W. (Wayne) Cariker 69, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, May 6, 2022 at Genesis Milford Center following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Cariker.
Born January 17, 1953 in Arlington, Virginia a daughter of the late Robert Wayne and Barbara N. (White) Dietrich, she was a former resident of Nevada until moving to Franklin to be closer to family.
She was raised in Virginia and educated in Washington, DC. Ann was a graduate of George Mason University, where she received her degree in nursing. She was a former administrator for Stewart Medical.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her dogs and was an avid reader & gardener.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert “Andy” Wayne and his wife Sara of Franklin, Michael A. Wayne and his wife Terry of Georgia, nephews, Bryan, Robert, Christopher, nieces, Sarah & Kimberly and grand nieces and nephews, Dean, Casey, Nola, Aspen, Jack, Mackenzie and Zelda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday July 1st, in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society 3 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
