Devoted father of Timothy Sullivan and his wife Melissa of Guilford, CT, Jill Cadogan and her husband Brian of Littleton, Sharon Kominiarek and her husband Stephen of North Attleboro, Lisa Cadwalader and her husband George of Iwakuni, Japan and Diane Smith and her husband Gregory of Waipahu, Hawaii. Adored grandfather of Emily, Abigail, Samantha, Gregory, Mary Shannon, Eleanor, Robert and John. Brother of the late Richard M. Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan is a graduate of Yale University, class of 1958, and received a MBA from Harvard Business School in 1962. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves in college and was honorably discharged as Captain in 1969. He began his career at Corning Glass Works, Corning, NY, where he held the positions of European Financial Manager, General Manager of Corning Europe, Controller of Corning International and Assistant Treasurer. In 1986 he joined Ciba-Corning Diagnostics in Medfield, MA as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, a position which he held until his retirement in 1999. Mr. Sullivan was a director and on the board of Colorado Med Tech, Denver, CO and TriPath Imaging, Burlington, NC. He was treasurer of the Red River Watershed Association in South Harwich, MA. An avid sports fan, particularly of college football and the Red Sox, he also enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Cape Cod National Golf Club in Brewster.
