Linda Ann Cahill (Smallcomb) of South Boston, MA passed away unexpectedly on April 13th, 2022.
Linda was born on February 25th, 1961 on the corner of P&5th in South Boston to the late Jeanne Smallcomb. Beloved wife to Richard Boynton of Brockton, MA. Loving mother to her daughter Ashley Cahill and her partner Christopher Augustini of Jacksonville, FL, as well as her son, Daniel Staples, and his wife Alyssa Staples of Nashua, NH. Proud grandmother of Autumn and Violet Staples. Devoted sister to Thomas Smallcomb of South Boston, Paula Smallcomb of South Boston, Beverly and her husband Peter Alsheimer of Plymouth, Michael and his wife Michelle Smallcomb of Braintree, Jeanne Smallcomb and her wife Sheila Smith of Sandwich, Claire Smallcomb of South Boston, and Daniel Smallcomb and his wife Chris McGovern Smallcomb of Sacramento, CA. Loving aunt to all her nephews and their children.
Linda spent the majority of her life living and working in South Boston. Her favorite job was slinging hot dogs at Sully’s on Castle Island and interacting with everyone. She loved adventures with Rick, spending time with her grandkids, and a good screwdriver or white russian. A lover of animals, she looked forward to her buddies Zevon, Skye, and Miles.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Brigit’s Church in South Boston on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at 9:30 am.
