LEE, Archie Supervisor for the M.B.T.A. for 30 years, longtime resident of Boston, passed away on May 2, 2022. He was born in Boston Massachusetts on June 5, 1952, to the late Robert Lee and Nona Lee-Smith. Archie was the middle child of his three siblings Ruth Lee and Gregory Lee.  Archie transitioned peacefully on May 2, 2022 in the presence of the lord and loved ones. Archie was educated in Boston Public schools for his early years, he then went on to Thompson Academy for high school, and attended Providence College to continue his education.

After his college years Archie and a group of friends opened a home for displaced youth, doing outreach in the Providence Community. A. true testament to Archie's big heart and compassion to help others. Three years later he then began working at Rhode Island Department of Corrections as a Correction Officer. Soon after,  Archie then returned to Boston to start a job for the M.B.T. A as a bus driver, then was promoted to supervisor. He formed many relationships and life long friendships working for the M.B.T.A. He retired after thirty years of service from his supervisor position and a career of civil service. Being the hard worker that he was, after retirement Archie continued to work as a bus driver for MassPort until he finally settled down.

Archie enjoyed a good book, a great old movie, a last minute road trip, good food, and most of all of his life long friends, and his family. Archie will be remembered for his kind heart,  for his giving nature, his infectious laugh and his amazing hugs.
