Adele Iacopucci, lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Saturday, April 30th. She was 85. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Peter and Romola (Buselli) Iacopucci.
Adele was a fun loving, outgoing and caring woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Adele treated them as if they were her own children. When Adele was younger she enjoyed spending her summers on Nantasket Beach soaking up the sunshine, feeling the sand beneath her feet and attending beach concerts.
Adele was the dear sister of Peter Iacopucci and his wife Kit and the late Robert Iacopucci and his wife Lolina. She was the caring aunt of Robert Iacopucci and his wife Frances, Maryellen Dervishian and her husband Steven, Gary Iacopucci and Alyse Morrissette. She is also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, May 9th at 12 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 10 AM to noon. Interment will be private.
