Mr. Hugh F. Brown, a resident of Tewksbury, formerly of Andover and beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Pink) Brown, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on Wednesday morning, April 27, 2022. He was 77 years old.
Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Hugh L. and Margaret J. (Kelleher) Brown. Hugh worked as a Computer Consultant for many years. He was a past Grand Knight of the Andover Knights of Columbus, and during his retirement, he worked as the Treasurer at the Tewksbury Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed working on many special projects with the Knights of Columbus, and was the backbone of organizing the Prom for Special People for many years. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved to travel. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his beloved wife, Liz, he is survived by his loving daughter and her husband; Carolyn Mary and Andrew Andrews of Andover, his sister Patricia and her husband Russell Ouellette of Andover and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 4 to 7 PM.
