Bob worked as an electrical contractor for 25 years. After a successful career where he ran his own business, he decided to follow his passion for flying and became a professional pilot for over 25 years. His most proud role in life was being a Papa to his 6 grandchildren.
As an avid outdoorsman, he always enjoyed spending time hunting with friends and taking his grandkids fishing. Bob was known by all as a proud family man and cherished friend.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Monday morning, May 2, from 9AM-10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Most Precious Blood Church, Dover at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Dover.
