Barbara A. (Davis) Poblenz 89, of Franklin, passed away, Saturday April 23, 2022 at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home, following an extended period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Robert W. “Dutch” Poblenz, who died in 2001.
Born in Andover, Dec. 18, 1932 a daughter of the late Walter J. and Mildred M. (Ward) Davis, she lived in Franklin most of her life.
She retired many years ago from the Texas Instruments Co., where she worked as an assembler.
Barbara enjoyed sewing and singing and was a former member of the Sweet Adeline’s.
Barbara is survived by her children, Kenneth K. Poblenz of Franklin, Cheryl Ann Griffin of Bellingham and 5 grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Franz R. Poblenz and the sister of the late Mildred Larcome.
Her funeral service and interment are private.
