Josephine Barnes, of Johnston, RI, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the age of 101. She was the beloved Wife of the late William Barnes and loving mother to Laurie A. Ciolli. She was the proud grandmother to Lisa M. Ciolli and Kelsey A. Ciolli and great grandmother to Julianna, Kamryn and Kamiliah.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading and listening to music. Josephine and her late husband William also had a strong love for the Boston Red Sox and would never miss watching a game! Those who knew and loved Josephine knew how full of life she was. Josephine was kind, considerate, passionate and she never took one moment in her life for granted. She will be deeply missed by her family.
