Obituary

WEBSTER – Angelina M. (Cordaro) Fournier, 78, died Friday, April 15, 2022 at home in the presence of her family.

She leaves her husband of 51 years, Paul F. Fournier; 4 children, Donna M. McElroy-Routhier and her husband Christopher of North Brookfield, Debra A. Smith and her husband Thomas of Dudley, Paul F. Fournier, Jr. and his wife Kathryn Beauregard of Paxton, and Danielle M. Fournier and her fiancé Bryan J. Surozenski of Webster; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer McElroy, Nicholas McElroy, Kamron Routhier, Brandon Smith, Taylor Smith, Travis Backofen and Nolan Fournier; 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson Smith and Natalya Baillargeon; a brother, Joseph Cordaro of Webster; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born on March 12, 1944 in Randolph, one of the 8 children of John and Elaine (McManus) Cordaro and raised there. She lived in Boston and Roxbury before moving to Worcester in 1967. She had lived in Webster since 2019.

Mrs. Fournier was a sorter in the jewelry department of the TJX warehouse in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 2011. She enjoyed crafts and puzzles, living near Webster Lake and bird watching. Her treasure was her family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to either Care Central VNA & Hospice, 534 School Street or the Community Cat Connection, 289 Thompson Road, both in Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
