Carol DiMartino, 83 of Franklin, passed away on Friday, April 22,2022, at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. She was the beloved wife to Domenic J. DiMartino for almost 62 years.
Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late John and Thelma (Letourneau) Corbett. She was raised in Dorchester until age 11, then moved to W. Gardiner, ME. Upon High School Graduation, she went to Cambridge City Hospital of Nursing, where she received her certificate as a Registered Nurse.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. DiMartino, was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Franklin House Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for 35 years.
Carol, enjoyed being with her family, and her beloved husband for almost 62 years, knitting, sewing, reading and always laughing and having fun.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert and Elizabeth, of Franklin, John and Cheryl of Falmouth, Richard and Maureen of Hampton New Hampshire, Lisa and Ron Ross (daughter and husband) of Franklin; her four Grandchildren, Amanda Ross, of Webster Ma., Alan Ross of Atkinson, North Carolina, Nicholas DiMartino of Boston and Rachel DiMartino of Hampton New Hampshire.
Carol, is sister of James of W. Gardiner, ME, and John of Edina, MN, pre-deceased by brothers Richard and Robert.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM, on Saturday April 30, at St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin.
Internment will follow at the parish cemetery.
