Richard T Leger, 61 of Natick, Ma passed unexpectedly on April 21, 2022 in his home.
Richard was born on August 3, 1960 in Waltham, Ma. He was raised in Natick, Ma by his parents Theresa Leger and Robert Leger.
Richard was one of 6 boys and leaves behind his brothers: Robert (and his wife Cathie), Paul (and his wife Nancy),David (and his wife Gail), Michael (and his wife Donna), and Billy (and his wife Betsy). He also leaves behind his beloved partner of nearly 30 years, Wendy A Clougherty where they resided together in Franklin MA.
Richard was the father of 3 children; Theresa Boiardi (and her children Ryan and Bryce) , Richard Leger, and Michael Leger along with his step children Ericka Clougherty (and her 3 sons Tyler, Blake, and Ryder and fiancé Stephen) and Derek Clougherty.
On weekends he enjoyed watching his grandsons along side Wendy at soccer, basketball and flag football, It is certain he was always the loudest fan on the sidelines cheering them on.
Richard also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who he enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with.
Richard loved to fish and spend time outdoors. He enjoyed deep sea fishing adventures with his family and friends and would talk about their time together often. In the summer you could find Richard soaking up the sun at some of his favorite beaches in Cape Cod or Maine. He always dreamed of moving somewhere warm some day.
In true “Rick” fashion, he wished for his life to be celebrated and not mourned as he always tried to make the best of it.
There will not be any services but a celebration of life at a later date.
