Hilda M. (Luy) Cordano of Newton, NH, formerly of Winthrop passed away on April 19, 2022. She was 106 years old. Hilda was the beloved wife of the late Ido C. Cordano. Born in Lima, Peru, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pedro and Elisa (Rojas) Luy.
Hilda was the devoted mother of Rosilda Mangini and her husband Fred of Newton, NH and Pedro Cordano of Wakfield, MA. She was the adored grandmother of Jeffrey Mangini and Sandra Farrell both of Amesbury, Debra Mono of Plaistow, NH, Viviana Ciampa of Amherst, NH, Giannina Wilkinson of Windham, NH, Franco Cordano of Wells, ME and the late Fabiola Cordano and the loving great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren. Hilda was also pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.
Hilda’s funeral will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Friday, April 29, at 10AM. Please go directly to church. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section)
