Obituary

Marilyn E. (Miller) Todisco, age 78, of Chelmsford, formerly of Winchester, passed away on April 19, 2022. She was he beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Todisco.
Born, raised and educated in Everett, MA, she was the daughter of the late Paul H. and Martha J. (Pitts) Miller. Marilyn was a graduate of Everett High School.
Following high school, Marilyn went right to work for an orthodontic practice, where she remained for many years, until her retirement at age 72.
A devoted wife and mother, Marilyn was widowed at a young age when her husband passed away at age 42. She raised her two young boys by herself. Her son Marc remembered her as the “best mother anyone could ask for” because of her selflessness and how she always put her kids first.
After retirement, Marilyn went back to school and got her Associates Degree. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking walks with her dog, “Scrappy”. She was known for her feminine ways and how she enjoyed getting manicures and wearing makeup, shopping and bargain-hunting.
She is lovingly survived by her sons; Marc Todisco of Billerica and Scott Todisco of Chelmsford. She was the adoring grandmother of Joseph P. “Joey” Todisco and great-grandmother of Isabel Todisco; the dear sister of Martha M. Krause and her husband William of Sanbornville, NH and Pauline A. Dolan and her husband Paul of Saco, ME. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Monday, April 25 from 9-11AM prior to a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery Winchester.
Marilyn’s family would like to express their thanks to all of the nurses in the Oncology Department who cared for Marilyn at Lahey Clinic Medical Center.
