Hennessy, John J. “Jack” of Medway formerly of Dedham. April 14, 2022. Beloved husband of Nancy L. (Dunn) Hennessy for 62 years. Devoted father of Suzanne Nixon and her husband Scott of Raynham and Michael Hennessy and his wife Cheryl of Mansfield and the late John J. Hennessy Jr. and David J. Hennessy.
Loving grandfather of Kimberly Olsen, Jonathan Nixon, Daniel Hennessy, David Hennessy and Elisha King. Great-grandfather of Hadley and Emmett Olsen and Haven and Elijah King.
Brother of Kathleen Renzetti of Falmouth, James Hennessy of Winter Springs, FL and the late Mary Roach and Edward Hennessy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jack was a retired partner of R.F.K. Associates and former president of the New England Travelers Club and Dedham Youth Hockey.
Jack enjoyed traveling, working in the yard, reading but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, Dedham, MA on Wednesday, April 20, at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday, April 19, from 4-8pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
