Ella B. Rapallo, age 83, died Wednesday morning, May 3, 2006 in Wakefield, at the Bear Hill Nursing Center, after a lengthy illness. Ella was born in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Canada and was the beloved daughter of the late Rose (Cuff) & Theopholius Little. A Medford resident for the last 50+ years, she was formerly of Cambridge.
Ella came to America as an infant and her family settled in Cambridge, where she was raised and attended Cambridge public schools. She worked as an assistant in hospital cafateria´s in the Greater Boston area. Ella most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ella was the devoted mother of Debra Rapallo of East Boston, Diane Leeman and her husband James of Stoneham. Former wife of Edward Rapallo of Medford. Loving grandmother of Michael Leeman of Melrose and Kristen DeSantis of Sudbury. Loving great grandmother of and “Apple of her eyes”, Gabriella & Michaella DeSantis. Dear sister of Mary Loder of Littleton, Calvin Little of Saugus, and the late Ethel Cabral, John, James, Herbert and Theopholius Little.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday 5 thru 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD. Funeral service and burial will be private.
