Evelyn D. Flahive (Lopez) of Somerville passed away April 8th. Born in Cambridge, she was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. Evelyn worked for Star Market as a Telephone Operator for several years before retiring. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and she was an avid Red Sox Fan.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Mother of Barry Flahive and his wife Kathleen of Groton, Karen Humphries and her husband Donald of Stoughton, Linda Morales and her late husband Alexander Morales of Scottsdale, AZ, David Flahive and his wife Katherine Stramer of Hamilton, and the late Joan Sandridge. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Parish, Canton Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
