Catherine E. (Storella) Burke, of North Andover, passed away on Wednesday, April 6th. She was 70. Born in Medford and raised in Somerville, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph A. and Catherine E. (Martin) Storella.
Catherine absolutely adored and loved her family. They were her pride and joy. She was a strong willed woman, her strength came from within. Catherine had a heart full of compassion and love that she passed onto everyone she met. When you met Catherine she instantly adopted you into the family. She was known around her neighborhood as the other mother.
Catherine loved cooking for her family and friends, especially on the holidays. Her delicious delicacies were made from scratch. She loved to see her family gathered around the kitchen table. She was a dedicated wife, a great mom, loving nana and friend. She was greatly missed by all.
Catherine was the wife of the late Robert Edward Burke. She was the devoted mother of Pam Murphy and her husband Sean and Todd Burke and his wife January. She was the loving Nana of Julia Murphy and Jackson Burke. She was the caring Kathy of Nicholas, Zachary and Kadie. She was the dear sister of Joseph Storella and his wife Margaret.
A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, April 12th at 9:30 AM, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 11th from 5 to 8 PM.
