WEST BROOKFIED: Dorothy Marie (Conway) Hanna, 80, of West Brookfield and formerly of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, 31, 2022 in Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Mary E. Murphy and her fiancée, Robert Dahrooge of Spencer, Lynn A. Chickering and her husband, Edward Marcelonis of Worcester, Stephen Chickering and his wife, Melanie of West Brookfield, and Walter Chickering and his wife, Marilyn of Worcester; her sister, Donna Reseska of Danbury, Connecticut; 10 grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Stephen, Emilee, Connor, Pearl, Mitchell, Nathaniel, and Daniel; and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Maureen Chickering; her brother, Robert W. Conway and her sister, Ruth B. Conway.
Dorothy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter F. and Dorothy B. (Chaplin) Conway. She worked as a Nurse’s Aid at Worcester City Hospital. She attended the Cathedral of St. Paul in Worcester.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00AM in the Cathedral of Saint Paul, 15 Chatham Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
