SPRINGFIELD - Ricardo Nadal De Jesus, 57, of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He passed into Eternal Life at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on August 22, 1964 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of Marta (De Jesus) Nadal of Westfield and the late Pedro Nadal. He was raised in Puerto Rico and came to Springfield in 1977. He was employed as a Machinist for a number of years and had worked as a Forklift Operator at the former Annex in Ludlow. He was an active member of the Men of Color Health Awareness (MOCHA) in Springfield. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. In addition to his mother, he leaves his beloved wife, Cynthia A. (Jordan) Nadal; his six loving children, Rebecca Jordan-Parker of Connecticut, Amber Nadal of Westfield, Kevin Jordan of Texas, Melissa Jordan-Parker of Springfield, Keith Nadal and his wife, Agnes, of Florida and Ricky Nadal of Florida; his two cherished great-grandchildren, Serenity Jordan-Parker and Jeremiah Jordan-Parker; his two dear sisters, Elizabeth Sanchez and her husband, Roberto, of Westfield and Wanda Labrador and her husband, Hector, of Springfield; his two dear brothers in law, Keith R. Jordan and his wife, Lisa, of Palmer and Michael J. Jordan of North Charleston, SC; her dear sister in law, Linda M. Jordan-Parker and her husband, Frederick, of Somers, CT; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. His family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. His burial will be private.
