Obituary

Nadia (Pierre) Vargas, age 42 of Brockton, died unexpectedly at her home on March 29, 2022. Born in New York, NY, she was the loving daughter of Adrienne Pierre of Taunton and Pierre Noel of Elmsford, NY. Nadia moved to Brockton at the age of nine and attended Brockton schools. She was a 1997 graduate of Brockton High School and also attended Massasoit Community College. For over 15 years, she was a Senior Customer Service Specialist for Keolis Commuter Services.

When diagnosed with lupus, Nadia became determined to fight the disease and give back to others. She was a longtime volunteer and supporter for the homeless and domestic violence survivors. Nadia loved to laugh and spend time with her friends and family including nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also an avid Boston sports fan.

In addition to her parents, Nadia is survived by her companion Vontsky Alteon and her siblings Venice Touze and her partner Elliott Williams of Newton, Freddie Blanfort and his wife Kelly of Abington, Poiette Noel of Upper Marlboro, MD, Patrice Noel of Elmsford, NY, and Pierre “PJ” Noel, Jr. and his wife Jasmine of Gainsville, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that adored her.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday, April 8, from 4-7pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, April 9 at 10am in the funeral home, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
