WORCESTER-Howard L. Miller, Jr. of Worcester died Monday, May 1st in UMASS Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his close friend, Lawrence and his wife Suzanne Sullivan and their family of Worcester. He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys E. Miller.
He was born in Pawtucket, the son of Howard L. Miller, Sr. and Mary (Kerr) Miller. Mr. Miller worked as a highway repair foreman for the Massachusetts DPW for over 30 years. He was a WWII Army veteran, serving in the Asian Pacific Theater and a Koran Conflict Air Force veteran. He was a former member of American Legion Post #341, the Southworks VFW and the China-Burma-India Veteran’s Association.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 4th at 9:00 AM in Winchendon Veterans’ Cemetery. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
