Sharon Ruth Bryant

Steep Falls, Maine

February 3, 1954-March 29, 2022

Sharon R. Bryant passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. On February 3rd 1954, Sharon was the last of 4 children born to John and Elaine Benson of Rockland. Sharon graduated from Rockland High School in 1972 and went on to study at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Sharon was a dedicated and valued employee at Edna Libby Elementary School, Mac-Gray Corporation and most recently at Olympia Sports’ corporate office. Her hard work and fun-loving demeanor made it easy to form lasting friendship with her co-workers. She enjoyed gardening, baking and frequent get togethers with her many groups of girlfriends. Sharon’s two sons and two grandsons were the light of her life. Her love for them was immense and could be felt by anyone that knew her. She found solace in caring for her boys through the years and was extremely proud of her family, as they are of her. Sharon was an admirable woman with a quick wit and a fierce sense of loyalty. She had an undeniable dedication to maintaining her home.

She was predeceased by her father John C. Benson and her brother John Wayne Benson. Sharon is survived by her two sons Phillip Bryant and Adam Bryant, his wife Jessica Boutin and their two children Benson and Carson; her mother Elaine J. Benson; her two sisters, Joannie Arsenault and Donna Maxim and her husband; two nephews Michael Maxim and Alex Arsenault and his wife; a niece Lisa Arsenault and her husband. She is also survived by many close, loving friends.
