Jeanne I. (Gauthier) Beauchamp,89, of 59 So.Spencer Rd., died
Saturday, April 29 in The Meadows of Leicester, following a long
illness. She was the wife of Eugene J. Beauchamp who died in 1990. She leaves two
sons Donald E. and his wife Sharon E. Beauchamp and Edward P. Beauchamp
of
Spencer, four grand children Mary Goulet and her fiancee Brian Mildish
of
Spencer, Jeffrey and his wife Kim Beauchamp of E.Brookfield, Jane and
her husband Jeffrey Perron of Charlton, and Amy and her husband David
Messier of
E.Brookfield, three step grand children Alfred M. Deschamps and his
fiancée
Renee Perry of Warwick, R.I., Lisa and her husband Tony Norkaitis of Spencer and Lauren Giroux and her fiancée Michael Dacri of E.Brookfield, 8 great
grand children, 4 step great grand children, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 3 brothers Wilbrod, Alfred and Raymond Gauthier and a sister
Annette Ciejka.
Mrs. Beauchamp was a cafeteria worker at David Prouty High School for
many
years, retiring in 1978. Born in Ware, she was the daughter of Henry and
Alma (Leblanc) Gauthier. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and its St.Anne's Sodality,
Worcester County Municipal Retirement Association, and the Worcester Area Chapter
of
Retarded Citizens Assoc. She enjoyed playing cards with her grand children.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 2 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL
HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen
of
the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Monday, May 1 from 5 to 7p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of
the
Mercy Center, 25 Westchester St., Worcester, 01605.
