Patricia Ann (Long) Perkins, age 92, a resident of Tewksbury for the past sixty-years, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at High Pointe House in Haverhill after living independently in her own home until the Spring of 2020. She was the beloved wife for seventy-one years of Herbert A. Perkins, who died in August 2018.
She was born in Watertown in 1930, one of seven children of the late John Long and Lillian (Eldridge) Long, and had lived in Watertown until moving to Tewksbury in 1960. She and her late husband owned “Your Corner Arco” service station in Watertown.
Patricia was a member of the St. William’s Parish community, and the Disabled American Veterans Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed painting and crafting.
She leaves three children, Daniel H. and his wife Laura (Cote) Perkins of Tewksbury, David P. and his wife Donna (Harland) Perkins of Ashland, and Sharon A. and her husband Igor Mandeleyev of Westwood; four grandchildren, Daniel H. Perkins Jr. of Webster, NH, Michael P. Perkins of No. Reading, Christopher Perkins of Arlington, and Emily Perkins of Washington, DC; two great granddaughters, Samantha and Caitlin; 2 great-great grandsons, Christopher Kelly Jr. and Louis Perkins; a brother, Donald Long and his wife Janet of Lexington; a brother in law, Herbert Sterns of CT; and was predeceased by her siblings, Jean Haney and her husband Robert of CA, Edward Long and wife Polly of Maynard, Richard Long and wife Florence of Watertown, John Long and his wife Ruth of Waltham and Doris Stearns; she also leaves many nieces and nephews.
You are welcome to attend her visitation on Thursday, March 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER.
